What began as a volunteer hospice 45 years ago by a Darien, IL social worker whose 17-year-old son, Thomas, had terminal cancer, remains committed and dedicated to serving those in need of compassionate, quality, end-of-life care.

The gift of hospice is the ability to help families see how much can be shared through personal and spiritual connections. We focus on providing guidance to both patient and family members through the end-of-life journey. It is no wonder that many family members look back upon their hospice experience with gratitude and tell us, “I wished I’d called hospice sooner.”
