As individuals age, maintaining independence and staying connected to the community become increasingly important. For those aged 60 and better, access to reliable transportation is a key factor in preserving autonomy and ensuring engagement with essential services and social activities. Community Assisted Rides (CARS) addresses this need by offering accompanied ride services and supportive community outreach to older adults.

This year (2025) marks the 100th year of Cantata Adult Life Services (formerly, The British Home) providing campus living and at home services for local seniors and their families in Brookfield and the surrounding area.
