Guest Blog: Compassionate Care at Home – Get to Know Eno Home Care

At Eno Home Care, we believe that aging at home should be safe, comfortable, and full of dignity. Serving DuPage County and its surrounding areas, our team is dedicated to helping older adults maintain their independence while receiving the care and attention they deserve.

As a licensed home care agency, we work with seniors and their families to provide personalized, in-home support that’s flexible, culturally respectful, and rooted in compassion. Whether it’s a few hours a week or daily care, we tailor our services to each individual’s needs, because no two people age the same way.

Eno Home Care is an approved provider for the Community Care Program (CCP) through the Illinois Department on Aging. This vital program helps eligible seniors receive care services at home, all at no cost. For those who may not qualify or who need additional support, we also offer private pay care options that can be customized to any schedule or situation.

Here are the four main types of care Eno Home Care offers:

  1. Respite Care
Family caregivers deserve rest, too. Our respite services offer temporary relief, allowing loved ones to recharge while we care for their family member, whether it’s for a few hours, a full day, or on a regular schedule.
  2. Companionship & Homemaking
We provide friendly conversation, emotional support, and help with daily household tasks like light cleaning, laundry, meal prep, and errands. This combination of practical and social support keeps seniors engaged and comfortable at home.
  3. Personal Care
Our trained caregivers assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility. These services help clients maintain dignity while safely managing their personal hygiene and daily routines.
  4. Alzheimer’s & Dementia Care
Memory care requires patience, structure, and compassion. Our caregivers use calming techniques, consistent routines, and engaging activities to support those living with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia in a familiar home environment.

What makes Eno Home Care truly unique is our client-centered approach. Many of our caregivers are bilingual, and we make every effort to match clients with professionals who understand their language, culture, and values. We believe trust and connection are just as important as skills and experience.

We are also proud to stay active in the local senior community. Whether it’s hosting monthly bingo games, attending senior health fairs, or working alongside Aging Care Connections, we’re always looking for ways to serve and uplift older adults in our area.
