Support GroupsAging Care Connections offers the following support groups: an Alzheimer's Caregivers Support Group, a Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Support Group, and a Men's Support Group. An Early Stage Memory Loss Seminar is offered twice a year to individuals experiencing early cognitive impairments and their care partners. Once a year, a series is offered to care partners of those with late stage memory loss. Alzheimer's Caregiver Support GroupA support group for caregivers of older adults struggling with Alzheimer’s disease meets monthly. Top of page Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Support GroupTaking care of young relatives can place physical and emotional stress on a grandparent. This support group will assist grandparents in working through the issues associated with such a caregiver role. The Group meets at the Summit Public Library, 6233 S. Friday Morning Regulars (The Men’s Group)An educational and emotional support group for men only, this group gives men an opportunity to share and discuss the experiences, struggles and issues they face in life, as well as current events and issues important to men.
